STEPS Program

In collaboration with the University of Toronto’s Transitional Year Program, LAWS offers STEPS to its grade 12 cohort at Central Technical School. The HSBC STEPS to University Program (STEPS) is aimed at making university studies more accessible to students who have the potential to excel but have been marginalized due to socio-economic status, race or ethnicity, family history or various other factors.

LAWS students are taught by a U of T professor in their own classroom, and earn both their grade 12 Law credit and a second year U of T Law and Morality credit during the semester. Their final exam takes place at the U of T Faculty of Law.
